Jorge Cavelier

We descend from the forest. The chain of life on earth goes back millions of years. The history we know from fossils, allows us to reconstruct the forests with barely imaginable foliage, shelter and nourishment of gigantic and tiny beings. You can reconstruct their pulse, their repeated births and deaths, cycles that we would like to call perennial, in different places on the planet even those that are now deserted. Trunks like columns of arboreal temples lie in the silent sand, where life was swarming and noisy. They were cathedrals that protected life where we all came from.
