Хорхе Кавелье

Мы произошли из леса. Цепочка жизни на земле насчитывает миллионы лет. История, которую мы знаем по окаменелостям, позволяет нам реконструировать леса с едва различимой листвой, приютившие и питавшие гигантских и крошечных существ. Можно восстановить их пульс, их повторяющиеся рождения и смерти, циклы, которые мы хотели бы назвать многолетними, в разных местах планеты, даже в тех, которые сейчас пустынны. Стволы, как колонны дендроидных храмов, лежат в безмолвном песке, где кипела и шумела жизнь. Они были соборами, защищавшими жизнь там, откуда мы все пришли.

Хорхе Кавелье, родился в декабре 1953 года в Боготе, Колумбия.
