Georgi Panayotov was born in 1958 in the city of Burgas, Bulgaria. A distinctive artist. A passion for singing and drawing manifests itself from early childhood. There was no money for music and drawing, he drew with everything he had to do and what he had to do, the first drawing teacher was his older brother, who was an artist.
From the age of 18 he earns his living in the largest metallurgical factory in Bulgaria "Kremikovtsi", after having mastered the trades of roller, welder, foundry ... Working in a giant factory, he sings in a room and a mixed choir. His beautiful bass resonated on every stage of Sophia, and at the same time attracted his free time. The smell of oil paintings in the studio of the famous Bulgarian artist Slavka Deneva gave her a strong desire to become a professional artist. Having become his pupil, Georgi took his first serious steps in painting. Since then, he devotes all his free time to drawing, mastering various techniques and genres.
At the factory, a group of artists, together with Georgy, created an art studio, where his first exhibitions were held, and where he heard the first serious comments from the famous Bulgarian critic Lyuben Belmustakov.
The hard work at the factory and the intense music and painting lessons took a toll on Georgi's health. To recover, he went to live in the village of Goritsa, not far from the sea. Little by little, alongside the paintings, he began to paint portraits in the seaside resort of Sunny Beach.
Since 1990, as a professional artist, he paints portraits, paintings, alternating various techniques and styles - pastel and oil, realism and impressionism, seascapes, surrealism and free works in the style of abstract symbolism. At the end of the 90s, with the Ministry of Culture, he rented the building of the old church "St. Todor", in the old town of Nessebar, in which, after restoration, a gallery opened. art, which is still in business.
In 2010, he entered the 4th year at ZNUI in Moscow, obtained an artist's diploma, then a fine arts teacher.
Has a number of independent and prefabricated thematic exhibitions in Bulgaria. Finalist of the international ArtPreview '2011 competition in Moscow, in which his work was exhibited at the Zurab Tsereteli gallery on Prechistenka. In 2011, he also participated in a team exhibition of Moscow artists.
For more than 30 years, each year dozens of his paintings have been purchased from private collections of art lovers in Bulgaria, Russia, America and many countries in Europe and Asia.
