Fine masks and theatrical creatures are part of the unique style of the distinguished Bulgarian painter Stoimen Stoilov, working in the field of graphics and painting, with a great contribution to the fine arts. He is the winner of the prestigious "Herder Award" in the year 1991, given by the Austrian Government to distinguished European artists, painters or writers for their contribution to the European cultural heritage and an honourable professor of the Vienna University of Fine Arts. One of his loved subjects are the figures that he paints as if coming out of "Commedia Dell Arte".
