Original title of the artwork: Viaggiare / Traveling
"The title of the project is 'Viaggiare' and comes from the homonymous poem "Traveling" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This poem is emblematic and universally recognized as one of the highest tributes to the theme of the Journey. It is here transcribed and sewn entirely by hand with needle and red thread of cotton by the artist, on vintage postcards, in black and white, found in flea markets that represent authentic testimonies of trips really happened with lots of dedications and greetings back. The work consists of 14 postcards displayed in an orderly sequence." - Oriella Montin
